Madame Blue, is representative of America. It was written in 1975, just before the bicentennial as a wake-up call.
I know I'm a fool but why can I say
Whatever the price I'll pay for you, Madame Blue
Once long ago,
A word from your lips and the world turned around
But somehow you've changed, you're so far away
I long for the past and dream of the days with you,
Madame Blue
Suite Madame Blue, gaze in your looking glass
You're not a child anymore
Suite Madame Blue, the future is all but past
Dressed in your jewels, you made your own rules
You conquered the world and more ..............heaven's door"
Until next time,
Sheilla

Dear Sheilla - You art is absolutely amazing and I love that you've shared how each piece has been inspired. I LOVE the stairway to heaven piece and your Dream banner! Do you ever sell your art or is it made just for yourself???

Hi Sheilla,
ReplyDeleteYour art and the music that inspired each piece is phenomenal.
GREAT art...so, so pretty! THANK YOU for the visit to my place and to answer your question...most of my roses are David Austen but with a few regular...bought-from-Kmart varieties too!

Sheilla, Your art is awesome. And what awesome inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLadies, thanks so much for your kind comments. It's sort of strange, but to me, posting my art seems even more intimate and personal than sharing my home. I guess that's because it is, in a way, baring some of my innermost thoughts and feelings. To answer Lisa's question, I do hope to have an online shop going soon, in which you can purchase some of my art in addition a selection of vintage pretties. And to Rene...I had a feeling those were David Austen roses....so very pretty!
